Working from our Head office in Ville St-Laurent, the selected candidate will offer and develop proactive, innovative ideas to build a pool of qualified candidates, fill vacancies as quickly as possible and onboard new hires while insuring the complete onboarding process.

By joining our team, the selected candidate will take the lead in implementing talent attraction strategies for all MTY’s departments on a national level.

Responsibilities for Recruiter but not limited to:

· Design and implement overall recruiting strategies and structures for all of Canada to source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.

· Develop and update job descriptions and specifications and stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.

· Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.

· Create and manage the overall recruitment process, campaigns and Job fairs.

· Source, prepare recruitment material and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.

· Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings and ensure all hiring and selection are done in accordance with employment laws and regulations and with HR recruiting best practices.

· Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule and perform reference checks as need.

· Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.

· Onboard new employees with the HR advisor in order to become fully integrated.

· Assist and support corporate store level recruitment.

· Work with HR to facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiation of employment terms.

· Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.

· Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

· Develop and manage salary scale project

· Support and manage the recruitment process for our two production plants (Laval & Quebec City)

· All other related duties

Qualifications for Recruiter

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

· 3+ years of recruiting experience preferred

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in French and English

· Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders

· Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods

· Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues and networking

· Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)

· Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)

· Adapt quickly and perform tasks under pressure

· Experience utilizing social media including LinkedIn is required.
