Operations Manager – Western Canada

Location: Edmonton, AB

With over 292 restaurants across Canada and 12 oversea, Thaï Express is leading Thai quick-service restaurant in North America. Our success is rooted in combining traditional Thai cuisine with new-world design and flavors.

We are now looking for a Regional Supervisor for Western Canada and based in Edmonton to ensure the day-to-day operations of the stores, in respect of the corporation’s vision regarding business strategies, operations and marketing. The Regional Supervisor will support the Franchisees, Vice-President, as well as internal partners to ensure the overall success of the organization.

Primary responsibilities:

  • · Day-to-day supervision of stores (30 stores in West Canada) to ensure the rules and procedures of the Operations
  • Manual are in practice;
  • · Provide feedback and assessment of the stores under supervision by submitting
  • monthly QSC reports;
  • · Responsible for ensuring the quality of the brand at the store level, including
  • compliance in purchasing, marketing activities and daily operations;
  • · Must be proactive and show strong leadership skills in providing ideas and solutions to
  • the operations of the store;
  • · Communicate regularly with franchisees to relay all pertinent information related to the operations of the stores;
  • · General administrative tasks and special projects as required.

Education/Experience:

  • · College Degree in management;
  • · 3 years restaurant experience;
  • · Microsoft office basic knowledge.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • · Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • · Positive, professional attitude and the ability to take initiative;
  • · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • · Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi tasks;
  • · Demonstrated ability to prioritize, by meeting deadlines and paying attention to details;
  • · Proven ability to communicate to Franchisees and clients;
  • · Proven strong problem solving skills and results oriented;
  • · Must be client-focused and service-oriented;
  • · English spoken and written;
  • · Available to work weekends or evening;
  • · Able to travel across Canada and overseas occasionally.
