Position: Marketing Manager

Country Style is part of the MTY Group family of brands and as the marketing lead for the brand you will be responsible for providing leadership in the planning, development and implementation of Food & Beverage innovation and strategic consumer marketing activities to drive growth and profitability. In addition, this position will be responsible for developing strategic insights & business plans to meet sales objectives by closely monitoring business, category, consumer, and competitive trends within the industry and identifying the relevant implications and opportunities. This role develops, executes & oversees marketing programs and will have responsibility to ensure all consumer marketing activities are consistent with the articulated brand strategies. Lastly, this role leads a cross-functional team on new product introductions and execution of brand-building initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

· Establishing, maintaining and providing expert knowledge of the Country Style brand including sales, category insights, market trends, consumer needs and competitive threats.

· Contribute to the development of annual strategic plan for the brand including pricing strategies.

· Lead annual marketing plan including sales targets and associated budget spend management.

· Specific focus on development and growth with off-premises digital sales via online/mobile orders, loyalty and delivery.

· Oversee the execution of national, local store marketing communication initiatives ensuring consistent brand positioning and visual identity.

· Leads cross functional team ensuring critical paths, details and timelines and deliverables.

· Manages the day-to-day business processes for the brand.

· Develops business presentations for key stakeholders.

About you:

  • Strong strategic planning, problem solving with both analytical skills and creative thinking.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with new product innovation from ideation to commercialization
  • Exceptional communication and business presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and thrives in an environment of change.

Requirements:

– Post secondary degree in Marketing or Business and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience.

– Experience working in the food industry or franchise environment an asset.

– Experience managing digital/social marketing campaigns including SEO. Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics considered a strong asset.

– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
