Our company is looking for a Division Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and finance, and will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the division. This includes preparing financial statements, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and developing strategies to improve the division’s financial performance. The successful candidate will also be expected to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas of improvement.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Provide guidance to departments on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

 

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Laval, QC H7L 3T6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
