Accounting clerk

MTY Food Group is looking for an Accounting clerk who will report to the Controller.

ABOUT YOU

You are an accounting clerk who is a go getter and wakes up each day ready for whatever the day may bring. You enjoy reconciling items and working with others to ensure cash and sales are accurately recorded. Sound like you? If so, MTY may be the place for you.

Daily tasks include:

• Reconcile bank accounts
• Reconcile sales and royalties
• Reconcile loyalty gift card program
• Follow up on discrepancies found in reconciliations and ensure adjustments made are accurate

Hard skills:

• DEC in Accounting or related work experience
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel), accounting software (ACCPAC is an asset) and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
• Enjoys working in a continuous learning environment
• High attention to detail
• English and french are required
